Abstract/Contents: | Provides an answer to the question, "Do I really need to have job descriptions for my employees when their duties are so obvious? If so, what should these documents include?" Strongly suggests having job descriptions on paper to avoid potential conflict or misunderstanding and offers a sample job description. Sample includes catagories for: job title, supervisors, qualifications, purpose, results, and duties. "The more clearly a job is defined, the better the chances it will be performed to the satisfaction of the employer." |
