Abstract/Contents: | "The redevelopment of modern, multiple-use stadia to meet the demands of players, spectators and safety regulations can put the playing surface itself under pressure. The Scottish Rugby Union's Murrayfield Stadium, one of the great sports venues, was traditionally a single-sport venue but is now quickly becoming a venue that can host three sports played on a natural grass surface plus other non-sporting events." This facility was designed for high traffic sports. It will be used for rugby, football, and American football. |
