Abstract/Contents:Woodland Golf Park, designed and created by Skip Gardner, was developed using three key components or suggestions to make up a savings plan: (1) Purchase used equipment, from maintenance equipment to flagsticks to sprinkler heads, (2) Educated in agronomy; used no external expertise in design or construction, and (3) Renovated existing structure for clubhouse/golf shop. Gardner built a 14-hole course, with the potential of someday building a full 18-hole course, or possibly something even more.
