Abstract/Contents: | Establishment of red fescue, tall fescue and Kentucky bluegrass on recreational sites showed that establishment )1 year before use did not improve establishment. Heavy overstory shade limited establishment and survival and in the absence of applied fertilizer volunteer grasses performed better than sown species. |
