| Abstract/Contents: | Presents the results of a study evaluating the biological control organism Tx-1 (Pseudomonas aureofaciens) in combination with a fungicide for control of dollar spot in annual bluegrass. Daily applications of Tx-1 in combination with a single application of fungicide provided effective control of dollar spot. Two different applications of Tx-1 were tested, one given the standard laboratory treatment of 8 hours growth time and one given the standard commercial treatment of 24 hours growth time; both were found to be effective. Studies of application frequency suggested that once-a-week applications of Tx-1 are not as effective as daily (five times per week) applications. |
