Abstract/Contents: | Compares the playability of courses in the North with courses in the South. "Playability of the course should always be the key factor in your plan. Studying how each hole is played or perceived influences the decision on trees or underplanting. Understanding the growth rate and maturity of each material used is a key component to the success of the project. Good golf holes become great when the framing or backdrop quality is enhanced by proper planting." |
