Abstract/Contents: | Lists the benefits of adding aquatic plants to golf course shorelines, which can be ecological as well as aesthetic. Aquatic plants can "relieve the monotonous and sterile look of a shoreline that has only turf growing down to the water's edge." Aquatic plants require less maintenance than terrestrial plants, and do not require pesticides, fertilizer or irrigation. Also lists suitable aquatic plants for Florida golf courses. |
