Abstract/Contents: | This study was conducted on a golf course in Lincoln, NE. The southern masked chafer age class distribution at evaluation was 83% second and 17% third instar grubs. All treatments except Triumph 4E applied 28 May resulted in statistically significant reductions in white grub numbers. Merit provided good (greater than 80%) control regardless of application rate or treatment timing. The included chart provides the rate, application date, average number of masked chafers, and percent control for 7 different treatments. |
