| Abstract/Contents: | Research was conducted to determine efficacy and safety of five herbicide treatments for the control of ground ivy in Kentucky bluegrass. The first application occurred on May 14, 1992, with retreatment occurring on June 27, 1992. Data were collected on phytotoxicity and weed control 2, 4 and 8 weeks after treatment (WAT). Treatments and results are shown in table 1. At no evaluation date did any imposed treatment exhibit phytotoxicity. The best weed control at 8 WAT was shown by the combination treatment of Turflon Ester + Trimec Classic at 77% followed by Confront at 63% and XRM-5202 at 60%. |
