| Abstract/Contents: | Research was conducted to evaluate Primo, a turfgrass growth regulator, for use in Nebraska. The study was conducted on a 7-year-old stand of Kentucky bluegrass located at Mead, Nebraska. Data were collected on phytotoxicity and clipping weights 14 and 28 days after treatment (DAT). Treatments and results are summarized in Table 1. At 14 DAT, Primo treatments did not significantaly reduce clipping yields when compared to the control. On the 28 DAT evaluation date, however, the higher rate of Primo reduced clipping yields 44% over untreated plots. |
