| Abstract/Contents: | Odenwald differed greatly from Skrzeszowicka and Szelejewska in the capacity for germination and the germination energy displayed by pure seed samples. Admixture with seeds of Dactylis glomerata, Poa pratensis, Lolium perenne or Trifolium pratense, singly or jointly in various proportions, reduced the energy of germination to a greater or lesser extent in Szelejewska and in most cases increased it in Odenwald, while effects on Skrzeszowicka ranged from -11.3 to +10.4%; the capacity for germination increased in Odenwald and decreased in most cases in Skrzeszowicka, while in Szelejewska the effect ranged from -8.8 to +5.4%. |
