| Abstract/Contents: | Trials were carried out in the UK to evaluate fluazifop-butyl (butyl 2-(4-(5-trifluoromethyl-2-pyridyloxy)phenoxy)propionate) in sugar-beet, potatoes and oil-seed rape. Excellent control of annual and perennial grasses was obtained with rates from 0.25 to 1 kg/ha applied post-em. at various growth stages of crop and weed without crop damage. Susceptible species included Agropyron repens, Agrostis spp., Alopecurus myosuroides, Avena fatua, Lolium perenne and volunteer barley. |
