Abstract/Contents:The soil and vegetation of 2 saline areas of the Guadalquivir River Marsh, Seville were examined. 46 spp. were recorded including Beta vulgaris subsp. maritima, Medicago polymorpha, Melilotus indica, M. sulcata, M. segetalis, M. messanensis, white clover, Trifolium resupinatum, T. squamosum and 17 grass spp. (including perennial ryegrass, Italian ryegrass, Lolium rigidum and Bromus racemosus). The P content of the vegetation was low, N content was normal and Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu and B contents were adequate.
