Abstract/Contents:"Through October, sales of buffalograss by Crenshaw & Doguet turfgrasses, Inc. has been above last year's level.." Describes the increasing popularity of buffalograss being used on golf course greens. The selections currently being processed for release, protection, and commercialization show great quality, density, low mowing tolerance, and excellent sod production characteristics. The most important thing restricting the establishment of buffalograss is weed competition, which a study has been started to determine the best management procedure to deter weeds.
