| Abstract/Contents: | Trials with a 48-SeX-125 drill having a forced feed mechanism in the form of fluted rollers, using ryegrass seed of 2.5% m.c., (5-7) X 2 mm in size, with a 1000 kernel weight of 1.7-2.4 kg, at the rate of 13-15 kg. The evenness of transverse seed distribution was determined at different feed shaft speeds, forward speeds and aperture settings; observations were made on the susceptibility to clogging. |
