| Abstract/Contents: | "The committee has distributed referee tests along the lines decided on at the congress in Warsaw in 1974. Three purity tests on the species Poa pratensis and Panicum miliaceum have been distributed in the past period, as well as a test concerning the half-seed rule, six tests concerning germination, comprising the species Trifolium pretense, Oryza sativa, Brassica oleracea, Zea mays, Lolium sp. and Panicum miliaceum. Finally a test concerning moisture content in Poa pratensis, Lolium perenne, Brassica napus and Trifolium repens was arranged. A questionnaire regarding forest tree seeds has been circulated. A new system of follow-up tests has been proposed, and it is planned to discuss whether the results achieved by the committee are sufficiently utilised by the participating stations and by ISTA." |
