| Abstract/Contents: | Consideration and problems arising from the variety and complexity of treatment variables, plant and animal components and management inputs in devising production models are briefly reviewed, followed by a dynamic simulation model of a perennial ryegrass sward as affected by soil moisture variation, with comparison of tests of the model using various irrigation strategies over the period 1959-68, and a slightly more complicated model of the water economy of a wheat crop in Israel. |
