| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a 1994 study used to identify persistent, high quality turf-type tall fescues for use in Wisconsin. Plots were established and visual quality, leaf texture, and disease incidence ratings were recorded monthly during the growing season. Only 15% of the tall fescue cultivars failed to provide acceptable quality. No significant correlation between leaf texture and visual quality was found. |
