Abstract/Contents:Describes the formation of a research project designed to develop a rapid DNA-based method for detecting a patch pathogen which is similar to Rhizoctonia solani and has not been identified by using standard methods. Current progress of the project includes the collection of turfgrass fungi isolates for research.
