| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study to test the effects of Nature's Nutrient on the rate and uniformity of establishment of Kentucky bluegrass from seed, on the efficacy of herbicides used on new turf, and on the efficacy of fertilizers applied to established Kentucky bluegrass. The results showed that applications of Nature's Nutrient on the seedbed, the seed, or both reduced the stand of Kentucky bluegrass. The experiment was affected by temperature stresses that slowed the establishment of the grass and delayed herbicide application. Stresses that the influence of Nature's Nutrient may be atypical and mentions that the effects will be measured again in 1996. |
