Abstract/Contents:Informs on how tractors can be the most important tool that people with more than a couple of acres of land can own. It not only can be used to mow the lawn, but it has a variety of different attachments that allow it to do numerous things. For example some of the larger tractors, with an engine that has 15- to 30 horsepower can pull a car out of a ditch. Some of the other attachements incude the following: aerator, bulldozer, cart, cultivatior, cutoff saw, generator, harrow, leveler, roller, seeder, snowplow, thatcher, sweeper, and various others. A tractor can be customized much like a car. When purchasing a tractor, beware of small dealers that do not have the largest selection and are not equipped to inform you of all the choices available and cannot give you the after-sale service of large dealers. Look for a dealer with a good service center, much as you would when purchasing a car.
