Abstract/Contents: | Presents twelve different kinds of ornamental grasses, whose popularity as a garden novelty is growing. Because of their distinctive forms and colors they bring freshness and vitality to the garden, but their sturdiness and disease resistance make them especially welcome. Grasses blend well in a variety of landscape situations. The twelve grasses mentioned are: golden satin grass, blue oat grass, deer grass, black mondo grass, squirreltail grass, Cortaderia selloana 'Pumila', blue wheat grass, feather reed grass, purple fountain grass, hairgrasses, northern sea oats, and flame grass. |
