| Abstract/Contents: | Diethamquat at 1.1 and 2.2 kg/ha +- 0.1% Tween 20 was applied to a bentgrass (Agrostis sp.) fairway turf with an infestation of Poa annua which contributed 50% of the total population. P. annua showed symptoms of chlorosis after all the diethamquat treatments, while the bentgrass suffered slight chlorosis with some slight phytotoxicity to the upper leaf tip. The higher rate with wetter reduced the P. annua population to 5% but lower rates were less effective. |
