| Abstract/Contents: | Creeping speedwell [Veronica filiformis] is commonly found in turf in the NE USA. Recently, chlorthal-dimethyl w.p. has been labelled for creeping speedwell control at 17.9 kg/ha. For efficacy and longevity, chlorthal appeared to be the best treatment for creeping speedwell control (better than ACR-1255 [dikegulac + mecoprop + 2,4-D] or 2,4-D + mecoprop + dicamba) but re-encroachment data indicate that complete control may require additional applications in ensuing years. |
