Abstract/Contents: | In a preliminary evaluation of herbicides for the control of Virginia buttonweed (Diodia virginiana) in turf, two applications of 2,4-D at 1.12 kg/ha + dicamba at 0.11 kg with 1 month between treatments showed most promise, but additional study of the timing and rates of application and ratio of 2,4-D to dicamba are required. When used alone, 2,4-D gave poor control and regrowth occurred in 2 weeks. |
