Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the use of crumb rubber as a soil amendment on athletic fields. Crumb rubber incorporated into the soil rootzone can improve air and water porosity and reduce soil compaction. Crumb rubber may also improve turfgrass quality and wear tolerance. |
