| Abstract/Contents: | Analysis of drying damage observed in seed of Dactylis glomerata and Lolium multiflorum led to the conclusion that a gradual loss of vigour occurs in the seed. This was characterized by a decrease in the rate of germination, an increase in abnormal seedlings and finally by the complete loss of viability. As a result of damaging drying temp., an increased number of abnormal shoots occurred. |
