| Abstract/Contents: | Presents the results of a study in which perennial ryegrass cultivars were evaluated for endophyte infection. Seeds of entries from the 1990 National Perennial Ryegrass Test were evaluated for percent endophyte-infected seed. Tables listing the percent endophyte infection of each cultivar are included. Also includes a discussion of the increasing role of endophytes in perennial ryegrass breeding and possible future research. |
