Abstract/Contents: | Describes the history of the Jenkins Estate, a piece of property near the Pebble Beach Golf Links. The property has long been sought by the golf course as a site for a new fifth hole. The life of Mimi Jenkins, the owner of the estate who refused to sell it to the golf course, is described. The property was sold to the golf course in 1996, a year after Jenkins' death, and will be the site of the golf course's new fifth hole. |
