Describes the experiences of Scott Hoffman in designing The Classic Course at Madden's on Gull Lake in Brainerd, Minnesota, stating that "[Hoffman and his crew] did things a little bit backwards. [They] cleaned out all the woods and seeded the area. [They] grassed the woods before [they] did anything else. The second year [they] really came in and did all the grading and shaping of fairways and greens and tees and put the irrigation in." |
