Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the causes of summer stress syndrome on putting greens and maintenance practices that may help to alleviate the syndrome. Factors considered include air movement, sunlight, aerification, top-dressing, and fungicides. Upcoming research concerning the use of a bacterium to control annual bluegrass in creeping bentgrass is also outlined. |
