Abstract/Contents:Describes two experiments investigating the tendency for ataenius and aphodius grub populations to be higher on golf course fairways than in adjacent roughs. It was found that the natural killers of grubs (milky spore disease and insect predators) were bure abundant in the roughs than on the greens. This appears to be the result of fairway mowing height as well as pesticide use.
