Abstract/Contents: | Traditional cultivation (ploughing, rotary cultivation, disc harrowing and peg harrowing), minimum cultivation (paraquat at 4 pints/acre, rotary cultivation and peg harrowing) and direct drilling (paraquat, direct drilling by rotaseeder, peg harrowing and flat rolling) all cost about the same ( 30/acre) for resowing Italian ryegrass in autumn 1974; minimum cultivation was slightly more expensive. |
