Abstract/Contents:Outlines the history of Michigan State University turf researcher John N. "Trey" Rogers' research on natural grass growth in domed stadiums. The research will permit World Cup soccer games, which require natural grass, to be played in the Pontiac Silverdome in Detroit, Michigan in 1994. Problems with growing grass indoors and the solutions tested by the researchers are outlined.
