| Abstract/Contents: | "The primary objective of this test was to evaluate the efficacy of Merit for mole cricket control when applied at different times of the year. A secondary objective of this test was to compare the degree of control obtained with Merit at different application times with several other insecticides....Merit treatments indicated a slight reduction in mole cricket activity, and Orthene provided good control after 1 week....Eight-week post treatment ratings on bare soil (after the turfgrass was removed) indicated a trend toward some level of control from all treatments. However, no conclusions could be made because of the premature termination of this experiment." |
