Abstract/Contents: | "The objective was to determine if combinations of Protect T/O and Spotrete WDG with Aliette 80WDG or alone at 7 or 14 day intervals, were adequate to control Rhizoctonia blight. Fore 80WP, 3336 WP and Daconil Ultrex were also evaluated as standards....Excellent disease control was attained by Protect T/O, either alone or in combination with Aliette. Spotrete, alone or in combination with Aliette, did not provide good control, once disease severity and pressure was high...In comparison with Protect T/O, fore 80WP provided a slightly better turf quality and disease control, even though both materials contain the same amount of active mancozeb. Daconil Ultrex at 14 day intervals, provided as good control as either Protect or Fore, even though the latter were sprayed at 7 day intervals...Control with 3336 was moderate, and did not provide adequate turf quality." |
