Abstract/Contents: | Examines the effects of humic substances on creeping bentgrass and how it influences its rooting, photosynthesis, and nutrient uptake. Describes humic substances and the benefits of using them. Describes an experiment done at North Carolina State University and how humic substances improved rooting, photosynthesis, and nutrient uptake, yet did not effect turfgrass growth and quality. |
