| Abstract/Contents: | Describes the work done at a golf course in Würzburg, at which an alternative method for Poa annua removal was tried. Students pulled the Poa annua from the ground, after the turf had been mowed to a low level. After the Poa annua was pulled, the holes were filled with a seed mixture, the greens were fertilized, and were not mowed for two days. Two weeks later, the greens appeared to be free of Poa annua. |
