Abstract/Contents:Examines the benefits of fall and late-fall nitrogen fertilization of cool-season turf. Discusses amounts of nitrogen to be used at various application times and the right nitrogen carrier. The author states that "the most important objective of late-fall N fertilization is to supply N to the turf after growth has ceased but when photosynthesis still can occur."
