| Abstract/Contents: | "The greastest show on turf" ,the GCSAA's 67th Annual International Conference and Show, came to Orlando in February of 1995. Mark Jarrel believes that if superintendents didn't attend they only cheated themselves and their club. For those who watch their budget closely the equipment selection alone provided all the justification of sending a superintendent there. Another advantage is the expertise of the manufacturers' representatives that were there. Lastly, for most of those attending the greatest reward was the positive mental effect it has on people. It is also stimulating to share ideas with peers and hear how they have developed new ways to solve old problems. |
