Abstract/Contents: | "Injury differences were seen between cultivars in turf plots of Poa pratensis under a natural infestation of Sphenophorus parvulus. Sydsport (South Sport) had the highest injury rating and Arista the lowest. The number of S. parvulus larvae in a sod sample varied from 62 in Sydsport to six in South Dakota Certified and Delta. A significant correlation between injury ratings and S. parvulus density indicated that cultivars with lower injury ratings tended to have lower larvae numbers." |
