Abstract/Contents: | Reports a Canadian company's development of an artificial turf that look and plays like natural grass. This turf is being promoted by Nike in a park that has been set up near the World Cup. Some of the teams sponsored by Nike will be taking their warm-ups on the artificial surface. The turf is made up of a fine grind rubber and silica sand. Some soccer practice facilities have already installed the new turf on their fields. |
