Abstract/Contents: | Five steps to help obtain an effective clean water project are discussed. The recommendations include: know the rules about federal and state mandates and permits; get to know the developers to provide some consistency in applying regulations, issuing warnings, and introducing new products; improvise -- each project has individual problems and solutions, don't be afraid to try something different; experiment with new products and methods; and keep your eyes open to potential problems before they become major situations. |
