Abstract/Contents: | Jim Arthur compares the turf industry of the past to today's industry. Focuses on the education of greenkeepers. In the past they were trained by experienced greenkeepers and now they are trained within the Greenkeepers Training Committee regulations. Criticizes the newer methods because the experienced few have been replaced with the inexperienced many, emphasizing the number of greenkeepers trained over quality education. |
