Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the current being conducted at the River Falls Golf Course to determine the effects of heavy rates of topdressing on greens during the winter. The testing is being performed by Donavon Taylor, a professor of soil science at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. The tests will include a control, four sands or mixes, two topdressing depths, and brushed versus unbrushed treatment. The research began in the summer of 1997 and will continue for about three years. |
