Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the climate effects of dry windy conditions on fairway, green, and tee swards. Explains the seed mixture and percentages used to get grass to grow well in these area under these high stress conditions. Also discusses acidifiers being added to the irrigation water because the pH was to high allowing fescue to take over bentgrass on greens which was corrected by the acidifier to lower pH and prevent fescue from taking over bentgrass greens. |
