Abstract/Contents: | Robert Laycock, a Turf Consultant, comments on the statement made by Jim Arthur in the June Letters section that there is no quick method of soil nitrogen testing. Although there is no fast way to test soil for nitrogen, testing grass clippings will report how much nitrogen is taken up by turf from all sources, including fertilisers, irrigation and from the soil. |
