Presents two breakthroughs regarding this issue -- the discovery of mutant strains of bacteria that altered the microbial populations of the root zone, and techniques to measure their establishment. Suggests a sterilized soil medium is ideal for this type of treatment. Includes discussion on food sources for the microbes and the application of microbes. |
