Abstract/Contents: | The author discusses the benefits of using partnerships with corporations to finance research projects conducted by the GCSAA. He points out that the Research Committee is staffed with university researchers and golf course superintendents, which does not give a contributing company control over which area of research the money is to be used for. Emphasizes that without financial assistance, most of the research conducted by the GCSAA would not exist. |
