Abstract/Contents:Relates the fact that soil pH is extremely important to keep at ideal levels. Low pH causes aluminum to reach toxic levels in the soil. Liming and the planting of grasses that tolerate high levels of acid are shown to help the problem. Discusses the testing of aluminum tolerance on several types of grasses and gives the results.
